Northwoods Youth Soccer Association

Northwoods Youth Soccer Association was established in 1992. It serves children in the Grand Rapids, Cohasset, and surrounding areas.

The Mission of NYSA shall be to promote, foster, and perpetuate the game of soccer at the youth level. NYSA aims to provide fun and enjoyable programs suitable for all ages at a recreational level, and as an option, at a more competitive level. NYSA's goal is to develop the understanding, sportsmanship, and skill of each athlete. NYSA is run by a Board of Directors which meets the second Monday of every month during the school year at 7pm in the RJE Middle School Conference Room. This meeting is open to all interested parents and players. Contact the Board President for further information.

NYSA does not hold tryouts; every attempt is made to give athletes equal playing time during the games. Players are placed on teams according to their birthdate's, not by their skills.
